  Helped Intelligrated secure multi-million-dollar warehouse automation contracts with major domestic and international customers by implementing a strategic sourcing strategy on a broad portfolio of industrial systems and equipment not supplied in-house (buyouts). In 2018, I was credited with almost $1.25M in cost avoidance. In 2019, I was credited with over $500,000 in cost avoidance and received the Bronze Award from the Director of Strategic sourcing. Was 1 of 4 strategic sourcing engineers negotiating/estimating buyout costs for project proposals; personally responsible for the buyout cost estimates for every project assigned by the Director of Strategic Sourcing.Worked with category managers to facilitate a fair and competitive bidding process for approved vendors and helped seek out and approve new vendors when necessary. Developed strong working relationships with suppliers and supported them throughout the bidding process and early project execution phase. Worked with Concepting Engineers and Project Managers to understand proposed automation systems and develop the technical specifications necessary to secure accurate and comparable quotations for every purchased item. Drafted and sent “Request for Quotes” carefully communicating these requirements to different suppliers. Preliminarily selected suppliers after verifying viability of equipment quoted and considering pricing, lead times, manufacturing capacity, quote validity, warranties, spare parts, freight and international shipping costs.Frequently used quantitative analysis skills to produce quick estimates based on historical pricing data when prompted. Practiced continuous improvement principles. Developed spreadsheet to manage projects and the status of tasks. Completed Red Bear Negotiating Level 1 and 2 courses while employed at Honeywell Intelligrated. Gained experience CRM software (Salesforce, some Oracle).
