Following the acquisition of Cyan for ~$500M, I’m responsible for leading the product marketing strategy and team for Blue Planet, a division of Ciena. This includes developing and executing cross-functional marketing programs to drive market awareness, demand generation, and sales enablement. Other core responsibilities include: Developing core market messages, product messaging, and competitive positioning for the Blue Planet intelligent automation software portfolio, which includes dynamic inventory, service/network orchestration, and service assurance.Acting as spokesperson for the Blue Planet division with press/analysts and at industry events.Collaborating with sales, product management, and corporate communications to optimize customer engagement.Leading the development and creation of customer-facing and sales enablement content such as webinar/seminar presentations, white papers, video demos, data sheets, web pages, solution briefs etc.
