My career has been built on volunteering to learn new things and take on new opportunities when they are a good fit. I have been fortunate enough to work with very intelligent and kind people who have taught me a lot personally and professionally. I have been working hybrid since 2017 and fully remote since 2018, this has allowed me to connect with people from diverse backgrounds in different states and countries.I have come to learn that coding is just one aspect of software development. It is understanding business objectives and customer needs while ensuring the health of the code base and the organization, while also ensuring resources are used effectively and can be scaled without any change performance. I believe in testing and quality being a part of the entire development process.I enjoy being technical and working with computers but I think that it is important to balance that with non technical activity as well. My hobbies include photography and gaming, both of which combine art and technology.
