About Kevin Lloyd

I became a Partner with KPMG in the Cayman Islands in 1997, having joined the Firm in 1991. I then went on to become the regional head of Audit in 2004 and in 2012 became the Managing Partner for the Cayman Islands and BVI firms. In 2015 I also assumed the Chairmanship of our KPMG Islands Group subregion and became CEO in 2020. I retired in September 2021.I have over 27 years of experience in audit and over 24 years experience in the insurance sector serving captives and capital market reinsurance vehicles. I have also provided advisory services in conjunction with capital market securitizations of insurance risks, including the first insurance securitization in the Cayman Islands.Prior to joining KPMG in the Cayman Islands, I worked with KPMG in Ottawa, Canada. Although I live and work in an island paradise, my passion from a sporting perspective is ice hockey.
