I led a team of Enterprise Account Executives focused on helping Federal, State and Local Government improve operational efficiency by leveraging technology.Workday is a leading provider of enterprise cloud applications for finance and human resources. I led a dedicated team of experienced professionals who help State and Local Governments across the Mid-Atlantic states and the District of Columbia maximize the investment they have made in Microsoft software and services as they look to transition to new technologies and cloud based solutions. I led a national team of senior specialists who have extensive experience helping US Public Sector Customers (Federal, State and Local Government, Education, and Healthcare) upgrade their back office and mission critical applications so they are able to take full advantage of the most efficient technology platforms and cloud based architecture.

I was responsible for a team of highly motivated skilled professionals who had a passion for meeting the IT needs of small and midsize local governments, special districts and community hospitals across the US. Throughout this period, this team achieved annual double digit growth by helping our customers consolidate their IT provider relationships and adjust to shrinking budgets during the most difficult economic conditions any of them had ever faced.

My initial focus at Microsoft was to develop a vertically based ERP practice for Government Contractors. I worked with a key set of partners who could address the specific project and cost accounting needs of these customers as well as deploy time and expense solutions that met DCAA requirements. Additionally, I coordinated efforts of the Microsoft product teams and senior company executives (including MSFT CEO) to develop a go to market strategy that would solidify our commitment to this market. Finally, I worked with virtual teams to build market awareness of our solutions through various sponsorships, ad placements, and seminar events.

During my tenure at Aston, I went from Accounting/ERP system design & implementation to presales support and was involved in 60+ ERP projects. I then moved into management where I led the consulting group in our Washington, DC office before accepting the Regional VP role where I had P&L responsibility for our three offices across the East Region. This team included 3 local managers and 85 consultants, developers, sales and support resources.

I started out as a CPA with a focus on audit & tax for associations and government contractors before moving over to Accounting/ERP system implementation.
