During these few months in the lab, my responsibilities include cell splitting, western blotting, - agarose gel electrophoresis, DNA extraction and recombination. As an intern, the most valuable lesson we learn is to be very very careful about every action we do and be cautious of any possibility of contamination; cell experimentation are extremely sensitive to contamination and a simple mistake may lead to a disaster for the whole team.
