Reduced annual net loss from $4.8m to break even. Expanded into fuel import and sales through acquisition of ExxonMobil Asia Pacific, adding $60m in cash flow and $3m in net profit per year. Implemented a company-wide rate increase to finance a 10-year $50m capital improvement plan. Created and launched net metering program and IPP interconnection procedures for large-scale renewable energies. Oversaw expansion into waste-to-energy, biodiesel refining, wind and solar power. Directed full remediation of 40-year old scrap metal site, which included shipping and removing 30,000 tons of recyclable metal. Managed $15m annual federal grant portfolio. GENERAL COUNSELManage associate counsels, paralegals and litigation counsel, and perform annual budgeting and quarterly financial review.Provide advice and counsel on federal environmental laws (RCRA, CERCLA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Safe Drinking Water Act), local and federal employment laws (Title VII, wage and hour, ADA, OSHA, FMLA, FLSA), rulemaking and rate establishment, local and federal procurement & contracting, federal grant compliance, real property acquisition, and electric and petroleum importation/distribution issues. Negotiated and drafted multi-million dollar Power Sales Agreements with Del Monte Foods and Chicken of the Sea International. Structured and negotiated $60m acquisition of ExxonMobil Asia Pacific distributorship, and solely controlled the drafting of all commercial agreements.Successfully defended landmark constitutional employment case establishing Authority's power to supplant legislative lawmaking regarding Authority's employees.Manage real property lease program for 162 water wells, tanks and aquifers.
