Duties and Responsibilities ◘Responsible to develop and enforce health and safety policies for the project .◘Ensuring proper safety standards and regulation adhered to different activities .◘Conduct regular inspection to eliminate injuries, accident, loss to manpower and damage to equipment.◘Coordinate and manage the work between HSE staff on site and identify the responsibilities for each one ◘Prepare and issue HSE reports and records, as well as ensure issuing of subcontractors reports. ◘Promote safe working attitude among all personnel.◘Reviewing method statement ,risk assessment and permit to work system prior to Authorization.◘Prepare, coordinate and develop HSE systems and procedures including activities such as accident prevention, environmental protection, waste disposal,jop hazards analysis, training, inspection and audit .◘Sharing safety meetings with subcontractors and client.◘Inspect the work site daily for unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, maintaining good housekeeping and other related non-compliance matters.◘advice management on current health & safety issues and requirements involved in all Construction activities.

Started in Alstom Grid as Safety Engineer then EHS Coordinator and EHS SITE Manager

Control the application of the safety plan according to:◘The use of all Personnel Protective equipment by the people working or present at site. ◘The signalization of « risky » zones.◘The prevention (barriers, slabs) on excavations, manholes, etc.◘ Providing prevention program to workers by regular tool box talk meetings about the risks related to ongoing activities. ◘ Providing prevention signalization with the display panels demonstrating the safety obligations and rules at site and the instructions to proceed in case of injury.◘The checking and registering of all certificates for heavy means hoisting, licences for operators, training certificates and tool box talk attendance sheets.◘ Drafting all necessary Non-Conformance related to EHS.◘Make arrangements, in relation with the Site Manager, by leading corrections to near-miss accidents or abnormal situations. ◘Leads weekly EHS meetings.◘Prepare the weekly and monthly EHS reports.◘Manage the return of all necessary data to establish the weekly and monthly EHS Indicators.◘Diffusion of AREVA safety bulletins including his own awareness.◘Implement in conjunction, with site Supervisors and the Site manager, risk assessments at working places.◘After method statement analysis, the possibility to focus on particular subjects during tool box meeting.◘Alerts the site Manager in case of incident.◘Carry out accident/significant accident analysis (identification and root cause analysis)Prepare the redaction of Accident Reports.◘Monitor the implementation of required standard Controls at site, according to the EHS actions follow-up schedule ◘Leads EHS routine audits◘Prepare and participate in the audit of thirds EHS management system involved in site works (subcontractors, partners).
