As a Senior Research Fellow and Country Program Leader at the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), I leverage over 15 years of post-PhD experience as an agricultural and development economist. My work focuses on advancing solutions for food and nutrition security, assessing and mitigating the impact of crises, and developing strategies for resilience building and poverty reduction, all while addressing the complexities of climate change.I lead and oversee cutting-edge research initiatives, guide the development of data and modeling tools, and engage in high-level policy discussions to shape meaningful change across Africa and beyond. My expertise spans data analysis, quantitative research, economic policy analysis, and economywide simulation modeling, all aimed at crafting effective socioeconomic strategies.My extensive publication record in renowned peer-reviewed journals is a testament to my commitment to rigorous research. I have contributed to and led multidisciplinary projects, especially in the areas of the water-energy-food nexus, the science-policy interface, and capacity development.
