Oversight of social safeguards programming and compliance with resettlement requirements for the Expansion project. Design and implement annual results-based social, health, and livelihoods survey for 3000+ affected households. Produce annual report and annual workplan using adaptive management principles while maintaining international standards in program quality and social protection.

Managed teams to provide services in health, education, community development and harm reduction for 1000+ families affected by hydro-power development in central Laos. Helped design and implement locally appropriate resettlement program with community input while ensuring all entitlements were met and compensation was provided.

As part of the CSEARHAP project, assisted Government of Lao in efforts to reduce vulnerability of migrant worker and other mobile populations to HIV and related risks through advocacy and education. Achieved improved legal support for Lao people seeking work abroad.

Conducted public consultations for proposed hydropower scheme in order to educate men and women living in the impact zone and soliciting feedback. based on community concerns, drafted Social Development Plan calling for strong support to education and health with a participatory planning approach.

Conducted extensive awareness raising training for SW-M staff and partners. Drafted locally appropriate gender policy and provided training to partners in how to adopt gender equitable practices.Also conducted 2004 Strategy Evaluation via desk study and 25+ stakeholder interviews.
