In my role, I news edited for the MOL Sport website, organised the workload of writers and planned live text coverage of major sporting events. I also wrote news pieces, provided features and interviews for the website and edited stories both from online sources and the sport section of the Daily Mail newspaper.

Freelanced for The Independent on the sports desk for just under a year. Highlight was reporting on The 2019 Wimbledon Tennis Championships from the All England Club. I provided live text commentary every day for the website, and I also conducted interviews and wrote reports on various matches throughout the fortnight. Throughout my time at The Independent, I also: - Provided live text commentary for football matches, Grand Slam tennis and Cricket World Cup matches.- Wrote features, interviews and SEO articles for the website. - Assisted on the sports desk on a weekly basis as part of my NCTJ course at News Associates.

Provided Audio Description commentary at Crawley Town FC in the 2018/19 season for Alan March Sport Ltd. Audio Description is a form of sports commentary for visually impaired spectators at the stadium. Professionally trained in July 2018, I commentated live at the ground for Crawley Town home matches in League Two and domestic cup competitions for the duration of the season. I also commentated on a Premier league fixture at the King Power Stadium, between Leicester City and Arsenal.

- For the 2017 and 2018 grass court season, I worked as a reporter for tennisnow.com at the Surbiton Trophy, Birmingham Classic and Eastbourne International events. - Produced daily reports for each tournament, focusing on home-grown players & players from the U.S. - Interviewed players, primarily at Surbiton, for quotes to put into my daily reports. These reports were then embedded on the Tennis Now twitter page.

Responsibilities for this role, at Exeter University's student newspaper, included:- Reporting regularly at Premiership rugby side Exeter Chiefs and League Two football team Exeter City. Organised weekly press passes, maintaining an excellent relationship with the media managers.- Used publishing tool WordPress to edit and format articles for the website's requirements.- Managed Exeposé Sport's Twitter, Instagram and Facebook Pages - Experience in producing engaging live text commentary and match reports.Under my editorship, Exeposé Sport was shortlisted for 'Best Sports Coverage' at the 2018 SPA (Student Publication Association) Awards.Further to my role as Sports Editor, I have written for the News & Features sections, and have contributed numerous sports articles, for both print and online, throughout my 3 years at Exeter University.

- Supervise and run activities for kids ranging from 4-12 years old at 'Mega Days'.- From swimming and Arts & Crafts, to sports and woodland activities, I set up sessions of two or more house for the kids, often in groups of 20-30, during the school holidays.- Requires clear communication skills, organisation, punctuality and patience.

General Secretary for Exeter University's men's football club for the 2017-2018 academic year.Responsibilities for this role include:- Sending match information on a weekly basis to opposition secretaries and referees for our Saturday teams in the Devon and Exeter Football League.- Liaising with league officials to organise fixtures and register players.- Requires me to be well-organised, communicative and clear, with a daily check of e-mails and invoices in order to stay on top of requests, and therefore sustain a healthy relationship with our local league and teams.
