I am currently a final year MEng Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Leeds.Last year I spent 15-months at JLR as a manufacturing engineering undergraduate. Specifically, I worked within the power train manufacturing engineering department on a project to enable JLR’s electrification strategy. This project involved CAD work, vendor management, time management and cost analysis.At university, I have completed a number of projects. My individual project looked at designing and analysing research equipment to assist with research into diabetic foot ulcers. I have also completed design and manufacture projects throughout my degree, including an autonomous buggy, a DFA of a door lock and a water wheel.I have also completed work experience placements with companies such as Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 and LEVC.
