Developed and maintained the Catalog Management Tool for the flagship E-Commerce product using VB, ASP, HTTP, COM, XML/BiztalkThe Catalog Management tool uses VB as the main GUI, with an Access 2000 database on the client-side. It imports CSV files into the local database, allows the User to edit the information using a Windows-Compliant GUI, and transmits the changes using XML/Biztalk via HTTP and HTTPs to an ASP page. The ASP page then queues the information in a SQL Server table ready for publishing off-line into the core SQL Server database.
