As a Staff Software Engineer at IBM, I am the Development and Test Lead for several projects in IBM's Information Management System (IMS). I received an Outstanding Technical Achievement Award for IMS Transaction Orchestration in 2024 and 1st Place in our internal zHackathon in 2020.

As a Network Systems Intern, administer in mapping all of UCSB’s wireless access points (WAP) via VisualRF, assist in UCSB’s Campus WAP Replacement Project by preparing, installing, and processing over 1100+ access points, and help manage and organize WAPs virtually and physically.

My most recent data science project analyzes the demographics and statistics of the UCSB Discord Server by creating a neural network to analyze each message sent for toxicity. WiSH is a community for females in STEM hosts internship, career workshops, teaches high school students engineering skills. As an officer, I managed social events for current WiSH members.

As a member of Coders SB, I attend company related events such as Google Tech Talk, Microsoft Tech Talk, and Career Talk.

As a computer science tutor, I taught college students how to create interest rate calculators and other related projects in C# and C++.

I lead a team of 70 students to compete in the FIRST Robotics Competition Sacramento Regional. In six weeks, we designed, built, programmed, and tested our robot. We designed our robot using paper and pencil, programmed our robot through Java using Eclipse, built our robot using a FRC Rookie Basic Startup Kit and Rhino Tank Drive Module, and tested our robot using team-built obstacle courses. I learned Python, and have programmed a basic Battleship simulation game in Codecademy using the language. I received an "A+" on the highest level of Girls Who Code's programming pre-test on the first attempt. I toured Airbnb and connected with Airbnb employees through the club as well.

I participated in Minds Matter, a volunteer-based, non-profit organization that focuses on providing mentorship for high achieving, low-income students in the Bay Area. The program entails a commitment of four hours every Saturday for three academic years (sophomore through senior year). As part of the program, I attended summer programs at Georgetown University and University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

I took a college-level programming course, “Introduction to Computer Science Using Ruby” and earned a B. This was my first time studying programming in a classroom setting as I had only self-studied through Codecademy prior. During the course, I coded a program that calculates and displays a percentage of sales revenue graph.
