Office Depot was awarded the MedAssets Office Supply Vendor contract in July 2011. This was the largest single award in Office Depot's history. I was put in charge of implementing the initial $50+ million in new business and now own the relationship with MedAssets and manage the program nationally. This entails managing the legal agreements, all pricing, compliance, reporting, and managing internal and external relationships to ensure the success of this program. As the landscape of healthcare changes we strive to be a good partner to our customers by being flexible and by bringing additional value to every member and their unique needs. Over the next 4 years I grew the program to over $70 million in spend while improving profitability and adding new contracts to the program to focus on adjacency areas of business such as furniture and print services.

In this position I managed a handful of large corporate accounts worth $1 to $5 million in revenue each with a total base of business of approximately $10 million. Within the first year in this position I renewed every one of my account contracts and built strong relationships with my clients. This role involved managing and renewing legal contracts, compliance, pricing, profitability, negotiations, selling new product categories and most importantly maintaining and growing the relationship with my clients as their trusted adviser. I was involved in a DSM, district sales manager, in training program preparing my self for a future role as a sales manager within the company.

Mangaged and grew a base of business of over $5 million in the DFW metroplex. Ended the year at 111% to my revenue goal. Led account manager best practice meetings and was in the District Sales Manager in training program.

Aquired all new business through cold calling via phone and in person, networkig and creating new business partnerships with unique organizations. Goal of $500,000 in new revenue annually which I exceeded. Performed this roll both in San Diego and then transferred to Dallas where I produced as well.

As a field marketing manager I was tasked with improving the retail and educational channels for the Sanford brand. I worked with office supply retailers such as Office Depot, Office Max and Staples to promote Sanford brands within the stores. I also worked with the education market and schools in particular to promote the brands. I hosted product training with educators to market and train on the array of products in lines such as Sharpie, Expo, Papermate and many more.
