I am an experienced manager with considerable experience of designing and developing a range of learning and development interventions that meet the needs of the business and ensure optimum people performance. In addition I have a good level of knowledge and experience in general HR practice . I possess excellent relationship skills and am able to successfully engage with and influence managers and staff at all levels.Some of my key achievements include:• Leading the learning and development function of a large organisation • Development and implementation of a highly successful apprenticeship scheme aimed at under achieving young people.• Lead role in the Procurement of multi-million pound contracts and management of those contracts.Most recently I have been working with Sandwell Children & Families Service looking at management strategies and interventions to support workforce development, performance management and L&D .I consider myself to be a friendly, outgoing individual who is successfully able to engage with a wide range of people.
