As the Manager of the Stationery department in MUJI Yorkdale, I carry a vast amount of knowledge on product information and department sales. The position requires me to work and collaborate with other department managers and constantly manage part-timers on the sales floor. The most important skill I have gained from this job is being able to problem-solve. The nature of this job often needs me to rise to the occasion when a situation surfaces, brainstorm the most effective and timely solution to the problem and provide guildance for the team to process tasks smoothly during a situation.

As a counselor in this 10 days Exchange Student Camp, we prepare students that are about to go on exchange in other countries for what will be expected of them and what they should be prepared for physically and emotionally. There are also classes taught by Foreign teachers to help their English skills and classes with experience sharing taught by the counselors since all the counselors are former exchange students such as me. The students are in the range of 14-year-old to 19-year-old high school kids that will be living with a host family in another country. Continuing this job in the second year helped me learn a lot about teaching and collaboration with others.
