I have 33 years of experience in the 911 Emergency Communications Field, many of which I have been a shift lead, trainer and Supervisor. I thrive in a high energy environment. I deal with extremely stressful situations regularly, often dealing with life and death situations that require compassion, quick-thinking and decision making. As a supervisor and leader, I believe in supporting my team, leading by example, actively listening to them, communicating effectively and having compassion. One of my great passions in this industry has been to become a certified trainer. I love being able to share my passion for this career with others who are beginning their own careers as 911 Dispatchers and watch them grow and learn. Being able to pass on my many years of knowledge and experience is an honor and I truly believe in helping people become the best, so they have the skills to be able to help anyone in need. Being the lifeline on the phone for someone who is dealing with the worst day of their lives is an extremely difficult job and I am proud to train those that want to become 911 Dispatchers.
