Leading team of Communications professionals to advise and implement strategies for the Mayor of Tulsa's Administration and 18 Departments. Advise and direct Communications activities focused on the city's top priorities public safety, economic development, transportation and infrastructure as defined by citizens, department directors, Charter boards and authorities, and elected officials. Direct strategies and implement programs for web and social media, news media relations, internal communications, brand management and graphic design, multi-media presentations, citywide public meetings, and issues management. The City of Tulsa is governed by a strong mayor and councilors representing nine districts across the city.

The public information officer for Division 8 of ODOT, handling media requests, legislator requests and citizen requests for information regarding the area's highways and expressway projects. Worked with central office on public meetings at the start of highway projects or to announce plans. Created employee newsletter for division personnel.

Handled all media relations for Bank of Oklahoma following it's acquisition and as it purchased other banking organizations, including Sooner Federal Savings & Loan. Worked with investment relations, board meetings, local and trade publications, employee newsletters and communications and co-directed the creation of and branding of a corporatewide employee suggestion program.
