The Director of Contract Management is responsible for overseeing the work of the contracts team to ensure timely delivery of contacts that meet the needs of each product and minimize risk for both Morningstar and our clients. Additionally, the Director of Contract Management is responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing commercial contracts and contract amendments. I work with the Sales, Product and Legal teams to create contracts, develop negotiation strategies, evaluate risk exposure, and make recommendations to business partners or legal counsel. The Director of Contract Management ensures our commercial contracts comply with our internal contracting policies.

The deal desk’s mission is to help drive revenue and improve profitability by aligning pricing strategy with company goals, improving operational efficiency, and centralizing the responses to business opportunities with a focus on sizable or complex deals.We work with Sales, Segments, Product, Legal and Finance teams. Our work encompasses responses to Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposal (RFP), pricing, contracting, deal structure, bundling of products and services, discounting of new and renewing business, and activating relevant processes.
