The California Child Care Resource & Referral Network supports resource and referral (R&R) programs across the state, while playing a lead role in helping create awareness about child care issues locally and statewide. The organization promotes affordable, accessible, quality child care.

The San Mateo County Child Care Partnership Council takes the lead in planning and advocating for quality care and early education for all children, from birth to age fourteen, in San Mateo County. It is a state-mandated local council under joint auspices of San Mateo County Board of Supervisors and the San Mateo County Superintendent of Schools.

Responsible for development and management of community programs including state subsidy contracts, child care resource and referral, child care workforce development, and inclusion services. Oversight of contracts exceeding $8 million dollars in state, local, and private funding. Supervision and mentoring to team of 15. Represent agency at community meetings, participate in committees. Research and develop grant proposals. Led new website development project utilizing pivotal tracker, wrote website content using Word Press.

Responsible for managing the First 5 San Mateo County Service Corps, part of a state-wide AmeriCorps and VISTA program. Recruited, trained, and supervised 15 AmeriCorps and VISTA members, placed them at partnering agencies throughout the county, and provided on-going support for site-supervisors. Provided training and assisted in developing individual professional development plans. Maintained communication between 4Cs, First 5, and PCA-CA, the supervising agency for the state-wide program. Also responsible for program budget and all reporting.

Tutored students at all grade levels in multiple subjects.

Responsible for instruction and supervision of students. Implemented planned curriculum and created lesson plans during long-term assignments as needed.

Designed and managed childcare programs serving over 200 children. Developed, implemented, and evaluated program curriculum and special events. Trained, supervised, and evaluated 15 - 20 staff. Planned and presented training seminars. Facilitated on-going meetings to set program goals resulting in evaluation and improvement of program content. Managed program budget and collaborated with other organizations. Designed newsletters, staff manuals, calendars, and other program materials.
