Pink Icing Cakes was created to bring our teens together and keep them doing positive things, and off the streets. My daughter at the age 13 started to lose herself in all the teen peer pressure and fell low and into the wrong crowds. As a child "Buddy"​ was her Idol and she always would say she wanted to be a baker when she grew up. She started with Play dough (as Fondant) and would make awesome designs. He was a true inspiration. As a mother, to bring her back around I created her, her very own business. "Pink Icing Cakes"​. Being it’s something she loves, she now at 15 has opened up and is inspired to group together other teens and show them there is more out there than what they "see"​. Together we gather parents, teens, pre-teens and even younger, to bake and get them to meet other teens and just be around a positive environment. Although becoming a baker was my daughters dream, this gives others teens that have never baked, or don't have a dream set, to try something new. To see what it's like, and just become more open minded about trying things.
