Grants Management Specialist - Office Of Grants Management (Acf)
Current⮚ Demonstrated success in managing grantees in alignment with ACF areas of priority surrounding coordinated approaches to serving children and families (Fiscal and Regulatory Compliance, Data Analysis, Panel Reviews, Facilities, Family services, School Readiness). ▪ Collaborate with staff and management to oversee the issuance and monitoring of ACF Discretionary Grants to improve the administration and efficiency of the grant management process.▪ Perform federal grant fiscal analysis tasks and leverage knowledge of federal grant guidelines including Uniform Guidance, Head Start Performance Standards, and the Head Start Act.▪ Apply a diverse mix of federal, department and agency grant administration and financial policies and regulations in awarding and administering grants (Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Administration for Children and Families (ACF), Office of Grants Management (OGM) and Office of Head Start (OHS)).▪ Ensure the complete and timely review of grant applications, including audit reports, federal financial reports and financial statements.▪ Provide insight and technical assistance to assigned grantees regarding fiscal and regulatory compliance and internal control best practices.▪ Analyze complex data from financial and statistical reports and automated systems to assess Grantee financial performance.▪ Develop grant award notices for initial and adjusted grants with accompanying documentation.▪ Provide technical guidance to grantees on the interpretation and application of grants laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.▪ Ensure grants are closed out in accordance with grants management regulations.▪ Evaluate grantee requests and jurisdictions utilizing expertise of cost factors and cost principles.▪ Provide advisory services and support to program staff and grantees.▪ Design and present programs and workshops around fiscal responsibility and compliance.
