Founded in 2015 by Lizz Winstead (co-creator of The Daily Show), Abortion Access Front (formerly Lady Parts Justice League) uses humor and outrage to destigmatize abortion and expose the extremist, anti-choice forces working to destroy access to reproductive rights across the country. AAF fosters a multicultural, multiethnic and gender-fluid team of comedians, creatives, activists and volunteers who create content, stage events and build grassroots support for abortion providers that comes from and speaks to a diversity of life experiences.As the first Development Director of the AAF, I've built the infrastructure for fundraising activities from the ground up. -Selected and implemented a fundraising database.-Created an acknowledgement program for online giving and major donors.-Write basic fundraising communications including organization overviews, year-at-a-glance summaries, and appeals.-Plan fundraising and cultivation events for various donor constituencies.-Conduct prospect research for major donors and foundations, write Letters of Inquiry, and create major donor prospect mailings.-Write all grants and reports for new and existing foundation donors-Secure meetings with new major donor and foundation prospects.-Secured $1.75 million in grant funding during 2018.

Vital Pact is an innovative fundraising campaign for Doctors Without Borders which engages fans of popular media such as comic books, video games, TV, film and genre fiction. By focusing on fandom communities, MSF found an enthusiastic and diverse demographic with a natural affinity for the organization's lifesaving work. I conceived the campaign based on corporate and demographic research, lobbied leadership for investment, and built the campaign from the ground up. Vital Pact raised over $1 million in it's first six months. I managed every aspect of the campaign creation and launch including:-Created innovative fundraising models for individuals, groups, and corporations-Developed infrastructure for campaign implementation-Engaged and directed consultants for campaign concept, creative and communications-Cultivated relationships with leading media creators and distributors-Built social media channels and public relations plan-Networked with leaders and influencers in the areas of RPG and tabletop gaming, video games, games jams, cosplay, fan conventions, comic books, and genre fiction.
