I have deepened MMHN’s commitment to Black birth equity, and created pathways to partnerships and funding access for a long-term sustainability plan. Launched the Black Birth Workers Advisory Council - a co-design model to facilitate connection between 200 members of the Black birth workforce serving Los Angeles County’s Black birthing community. Acquired over $300,000 in funding to support the project in year 1.
