Principal at Zeta Charter Schools Kiwana previously served as Academic Director, Based in the Bronx, New York, Kiwana Yates, EdD, has served as the academic director of Zeta Charter Schools since 2019. In this position, she is responsible for all areas of school building and academic leadership, which includes oversight of the faculty and student engagement. Kiwana Yates, EdD, is also tasked with maintaining a safe school environment that facilitates academic growth and achievement.She has garnered a number of professional honors over the course of her career in education, including a Teacher of the Year Award in 2004, Distinguished leadership accolades and a 2015 REB Award for Educational Leadership. Furthermore, she has made presentations with notable academic organizations, such as the American Association of Superintendents.Kiwana Yates holds a doctor of education from Argosy University in Tampa, Florida.
