My role at Kognitiv is a Project Manager in the Workday / SaaS industry. I currently manage Workday Phase 2 projects including additional module implementations and other Post Production Services involving project management while also assisting in implementations of our Rooster interview scheduling product which integrates with Workday. In addition to the client-facing work, I work with the PMO and our operational leadership to assist in standardizing processes and tools across the organization for future growth.

I began as an Associate Project Manager in the Towson office for a firm that serves as consulting assisting in the integration of technology into the built environment. Projects include domestic projects ranging from LED displays in Times Square to LED and LCD display network installations in both commercial and real estate environments throughout the United States. This role featured similar responsibilities and roles to Whiting Turner in regards to managing project implementation while also providing Owner's Representative experience during the valuation, design and operational phases of projects.

I switched from a Field Engineer to a Project Engineer after I completed the Hilgartner New Headquarters Renovation where I served in both roles. I worked on projects including the Hilgartner New Headquarters Renovation, the Bryn Mawr School Renovations (Summer 2015 & Summer 2016), and the Gilchrist Hospice Center Contemplation Room and Lounge Addition. My responsibilities included creating project estimates, bidding work, writing and coordinating scopes from the contract documents, creating and tracking project budgets and schedules, and ensuring the quality of items installed in the field.

I worked as a Field Engineer for Whiting-Turner on projects including the Oldfields School Gym Renovation, the Maryland Zoo Penguin Exhibit, the Towson YMCA Phase 3 Addition, and the Hilgartner New Headquarters. My responsibilities included supervising construction workers in the field, maintaining daily tracking logs, inspecting and correcting safety issues, inspecting and tracking quality of construction, and scheduling upcoming work to ensure project deadlines are met. I also bid new projects, created owner invoices, and tracked project spending.

I worked at both the University of Maryland Medical Center, and the KIPP Ujima School during the summers of 2012 and 2013.Over the course of the summer, I updated drawings, scheduled contractors, supervised subcontractors, operated with BIM, checked daily safety conditions and learned the basics of the construction industry.

Towson, Maryland

At Wallace Montgomery, I served as an engineering intern in both the structural and surveying departments. In the structural department, I worked on bridge inspections done for the state of Maryland. These inspections consisted of going into the field with other engineers and assisting in their inspections, as well as updating or even creating new reports in the office.On the surveying side, my work was always out in the field. The field work consisted of leveling, traversing, setting baselines, or simply topographically surveying a given site.
