Project responsibilities, as stated above, for DCS projects while additionally performing all system engineering duties for projects with a major chemical customer at two (2) plants. These duties included:• Development of all control logic and graphics. (Combustion control, chiller machine automation)• Startup, checkout and system testing of all hardware and software at each site.

Primary responsibility on an assigned shift to manage ALL operations and maintenance activities within a new, highly automated, $400M nuclear weapons facility. Other duties of this position:• Supervision of First Line Supervisors, Engineers, Operators, Maintenance and E&I mechanics, Health Protection and Quality Assurance Inspectors.• Plan, schedule, assign work, establish priorities, resolve resource problems and take appropriate measures to ensure work meets specifications and is completed on schedule. • Facility Emergency Coordinator responsible for making emergency action decisions to protect the public health, plant personnel and equipment. • Coordination of construction activities for existing and new projects within the facility.

Cognizant of all facility processes and service systems. Primary responsibilities included ensuring shift operations and testing were conducted within applicable Process Requirements, Technical Safety Requirements, and the Facility Safety Analysis Report. Other duties:• Monitor systems performance and develop improvement strategies.• Design, installation, and startup of two PLC control systems.• Providing design baseline for all process instrumentation.• Writing and performing test procedures (factory and site acceptance) for PLC and DCS control systems.• Performing accuracy and error analysis for all process instrument loops.
