Klein served as Director of International Solutions Group (ISG) from January 2012 until early 2018, when ISG was acquired by IMC Worldwide. ISG's programming focused on improving organizational and program performance in the humanitarian aid and development space. Specializing in monitoring and evaluation (M&E), ISG provided global, regional, and country-level evaluations to catalyze learning, identify best practices, and inform future programming. ISG also assisted organizations in adopting M&E tools and systems, leveraging technology (ICT4D) to build the internal processes necessary to collect and standardize reporting and analysis.In his role as a Director of ISG, Klein led strategy and partnership - working with a wide array of partners on programs that addressed ISG’s core mission of improving performance in the humanitarian aid and development space. Partners have included donor agencies, private sector organizations, research institutions, universities, and NGOs. Klein led teams that delivered programming in the more than 40 countries in which ISG operated. Klein served as associate director for a mid-market M&A and Private Sector Development (PSD) consultancy. The firm is a financial consultancy with emerging market experience in privatization, public-private partnership (PPP), enterprise restructuring, corporate finance advisory services and mergers and acquisitions (M&A).As an associate director, Klein worked with private and public enterprises, as well as multilateral institutions (e.g. World Bank, USAID, AfDB and EBRD), to identify business opportunities and prepare proposals for consulting projects.
