-Performed a prospective cross-sectional study revolving children with type 1 and 2 diabetes in the pediatric endocrinology clinic with Dr. Kevin Yen, Dr. Jenise Wong, and Dr. Sonali Belapurkar.-Collected data from 80+ patients utilizing REDCap-Collaborated with nurses/diabetes educators after seeing their patients to gather data on issues with diabetes technology (DT)-Spoke to 20+ members of the community with poster presentation at CHORI with UCSF SSRP. -Presented slideshow presentation on diabetes and diabetes technology to 45+ peers/healthcare professionals through zoom.-Sponsored by DDCF-learned and strengthened medical expertise through UCSF Kanbar simulation.

-Observed Dr. Kevin Yen (in-clinic/out-clinic) and Ms. Karen (nurse) within the pediatric endocrinology department (15hrs)-Took notes of interactions/important information for patient usage and feedback.

-Engaged in a curriculum exploring human physiology and biomedical innovations, including genetic engineering, public health safety, clinical research, and ethical issues in medicine.-Led groups of 4+ in labs and dissections (cow eyeball and fetal pigs)-Synthesized literature review paper on Serotonin, its influence on the body, physiology, cognitive functions, genetic factors, and its role in substance use and mental health disorders.

Created and presented an infographic across 4 high schools, teachers, and professionals detailing the steps a high school student should take to be college-bound, emphasizing the medical field to peers-Met up with 3+ mentors weekly practicing critical thinking and presentation skills-Led a team of 2, guiding peers in research on mental health awareness.
