This project required coordination with multiple teams within the Transportation Department as well as transit providers, organizations, community stakeholders, and approval from the general public and NCTCOG Boards. -Coordinated data collection from 16 public transit providers to support a transit equity study of the 12- county region with the University of Texas at Arlington’s (UTA) Institute of Urban Studies. I was responsible for ensuring UTA’s students understood the data and conducted proper data analysis. -Coordinated with other teams within the department to update the Transit Accessibility Improvement Tool to locate potential transit-dependent population based on demographic traits across NCTCOG’s 16-county region. -Managed transit agency subrecipient budgets to ensure compliance with FTA regulations.
