At aicare.co.ke as a founding engineer, I help decide on the technical trajectory of the company. From understanding the business needs, to architecting our tech infrastructure, and choosing the right programming languages and frameworks for our needs, to writing code and building algorithms that are geared towards a more reliable, scalable, and highly available tech stack; I get involved with everything that has to do with tech on a day-to-day bases. Some of the technologies included in our microservices architecture include Nodejs, VueJs, MongoDB, GoLang, Redis and Python.As a Senior at the company, my job also involves making sure the other developers are happy with the tech stack, and that they are able to deliver and ship to production. quality work within the stipulated timeline.

Over my time at tagumpaygroup as a full-stack engineer, we built and deployed to production,  multiple applications intersecting different sectors. My job description was to take well defined software requirements from our higher ups, and  come up with a plan of action to implement and produce a finished product. In the race to meet the business needs, I had the opportunity to interact more with different technologies. From backend technologies like PHP and MySQL to NodeJs and MongoDb, and frontend technologies like Flutter, VueJs and Twig, we built inhouse applications for companies like brownstone and pesawift.  Through my time at Tagumpay, 100%  of the projects we built went to production and into the hands of the clients who needed it.Working with companies like ims on niche projects that required a lot of research and development we built an enterprise asset management software with real time vitals report on their servers.

The idea for this application was to create a marketplace for student businesses. The understanding was that a handful of students owned businesses with no real way to advertise their business online or show and manage their stock. Campafia was born as a solution to this. A website written primarily in PHP for students to have their online store with customization of their  products,the  design of their business' page and url location on the app. The app was released for public use and had some student businesses use it, until it could no longer be maintained financially.
