As part of the International Services Information Management and GIS team, applies geospatial and data visualization skills to support international disaster response operations with maps, infographics, and interactive dashboards. Develops strategies to build capacity of Red Cross staff and volunteers to effectively use data to prepare for and respond to disasters. Developed Presenting and Visualizing Data module of the IFRC Data Playbook.

Served as Jhpiego’s first ever data visualization professional, increasingly nurturing a culture of improved data use across the organization. Provided data visualization leadership to Jhpiego health projects across countries and technical areas. Leveraged strong technical knowledge of Power BI and DHIS2 to extract actionable insights from data. Empowered colleagues to use data for decision-making through strategic data analytics and capacity-building initiatives. Served as data visualization lead for USAID’s flagship MNCH program, Maternal and Child Survival Program. Developed data visualization toolkit that was disseminated to over 40 countries and translated into French and Portuguese.

Managed Jhpiego’s Indonesia sponsored projects portfolio, including the USAID-funded Expanding Maternal and Neonatal Survival Program. Conducted presentations on data visualization and impactful report writing for Jhpiego headquarters staff, Jhpiego Indonesia staff, and staff from Indonesian partner organizations. Monitored progress of program activities against workplans and budgets to ensure objectives were being met on time, on scope, and on budget. Regularly reviewed and analyzed program data.

Coordinated program activities with Jhpiego’s field offices in Indonesia, Nepal, and Philippines. Designed creative reports, infographics, and data presentations for program reports and communications products.

Led communications outputs for the organization, including donor update reports, website content development, data visualizations, social media, and email blasts. Provided management, budget, and operations support to the organization’s women’s health and empowerment activities for victims of gender-based violence in the IDP camps of Darfur, Sudan. Served as communications liaison between DPDO headquarters and staff in Khartoum and Darfur.
