About Mike O'Connor Mba

I have always been fascinated and excited by the manufacturing process. My father owned a company that made mobile homes and RVs. I can still vividly remember touring the factory with him as a young boy and feeling the adrenaline rush derived from the beehive of production activities surrounding the assembly line. I have wanted to own a manufacturing company for as long as I can remember.My early career at AT&T and Abbott-Interfast gave me valuable experience in a variety of fields such as Customer Service, Sales, Advertising, Engineering, Product Design, Product Development, and Operations Management. When I started my own company I knew that I wanted it to be driven by these principles:• Customer Focus – I wanted to be the easiest vendor that my customers work with• Manufacturing – control both quality and service by actually making what you sell• Proprietary Designs – bring value to our customers through innovative products• Employee Empowerment – give employees responsibility and authority to enact changeI sold my businesses in 2019 and am now concentrating on serving my community through volunteering on Not For Profit boards. I am passionate about teaching students about economics, careers, and personal finance. Likewise, I am dedicated to improving the health of my local watershed.
