Transportation studentwanted my voice to be heard in this car-centric society #walker. Don't want to die and just be another statistic because "cars". Somehow car companies were able to make jay-walking illegal, and that's one of my life goals is to free the common man, free the common walker. Free the nipple as wellI'm really happy with my simple life; I take the bus to school, walk to the grocery store, and cook fresh meals daily. Really hard to find places that support this lifestyle, and so I want to change that because its only because of previlege that I'm able to do so.I also just really hate how everybody owns an SUV now. Personally I would never own an SUV; I don't want to give into the arms race of bigger cars = "safer", I want to actually have a good handling car, and even if I needed "space" why would I not just get a minivan (or wagon or hatchback, but they don't exist in America:) )? It's soooo funny to me whenever my brother swaps his Lexus SUV for my dads Toyota Sienna for a beach trip or a mountain trip. Just pointless cars that cause more damage because mummy is worried about her three year old. And I get that SUV's are cheaper to manufacture than sedans, but can we close the loophole of SUV's being categorized as trucks.
