Leading all research projects and program evaluation conducted at FearIsNotLove. Prepared and presented reports for internal and external audience. Including preparation of progress reports for funders; such as, United Way, Alberta Human Services, Alberta Law Foundation, Women and Gender Equality. Designed and customized the database management application (Apricot) based on therapeutic and reporting requirements of the organization and its services. Transitioned database management system from Outcome Tracker to Apricot. Provided users with orientation and training for the new application. Provided constant support to ensure smooth transitioning. Designed and maintained a change management log to keep organizational memory on objectives of additions and modifications in the new database management system.

Designing and overseeing all client-services related research at the food bank. From ideation of research projects to sharing results, I am responsible for evaluating the food bank's service offerings and analyzing extensive data-sets to keep the operations in line with the food bank's vision.Duties include:- Conducting careful and thorough literature reviews to inform research projects- Designing data collection tools (online surveys, focus group & interview questionnaires and guides)- Periodically evaluating online surveys to improve response rates and survey participants' experience- Using in-depth knowledge of research design to utilize a range of quantitative and qualitative methodologies- Applying systematic approach to analyze data to support organizational decision-making by conducting regular reviews, data scans, and gap analysis- Identifying key performance indicators and making recommendations for measuring progress towards achieving program goals- Synthesize complex information into customized reports, prepared and published periodically, for the intended users to support strategic management-Coordinating and liaising with team members to assist with proposal writing and project management related to research projects-Serve as point of contact for external and internal research queries

I shared responsibility for the day to day coordination of Scheduling functions at St. Therese Villa and St. Michael's Health Centre. I ensured that employees are scheduled appropriately in accordance with policies, procedures, budget and contractual obligations of Covenant Health using ESP scheduling software. As a scheduler, I provided customer service to the employees and managers of Covenant Health.Primary Responsibilities Included:- Filling immediate shifts to meet unit needs.- Pre-booking shifts created from vacations, illness, and leaves of absence.- Entering accurate data for payroll purposes.- Communicating unit needs and upcoming concerns with department managers.- Running reports when requested.- Booking employee education.- Reading and responding to Scheduling Services related emails.

Being part of the MSc (Mgmt) program at University of Lethbridge, I gained solid understanding of research paths in my discipline. This program honed my skill in the research process. This program has prepared me to pursue a career where research skills and scholarly knowledge are valued. My major of Policy & Strategy has helped me acquire variety of expertise that allow me to critically evaluate theory and research about organizations and their environments. This major focused on for-profit and not-for-profit organizations and their industrial and institutional environments, organizational ecology, inter-organizational networks, organizational and institutional change, strategic choice and implementation, top management team dynamics, corporate governance and other subjects. My thesis on 'unique challenges of local food initiatives in Southern Alberta' has helped me understand the local food systems in great detail. The methodology of my thesis was an intensive case study that has helped me study the local food initiatives interactions with Southern Alberta as well as their operations in other regions like rest of Alberta, BC, Ontario, US, and Europe. As part of my thesis, I also provided strategic consultancy to a local food co-operative in Fort Macleod, AB.

As a student in MSc (Mgt) program with thesis research in the area of Food Justice, I was recruited to assist Dr. John Usher with the ARIF Regional Food Hub project as an interviewer and data analyst. I was involved in the initial setting of the mission, vision, and values of the project. I was also responsible for literature review for the research project. I took lead in the design of the feasibility study's survey and interview instruments that were used to assess the overall regional food system and the supply chain expectations of both producers and institutional buyers in the region of Southwestern Alberta. I was teamed up with a BMgt student for data collection through interviews. I further contributed to the foundation of this project by transcribing and compiling the data collected from interviews. The conclusion of the study suggested that the region requires midterm economic sustainability before it is feasible to build an infrastructure of a local food hub. I contributed to the conclusion through my thesis research on Local Food Initiatives in Southern Alberta by highlighting other ways to support local food production in the region.
