My main goal was to design and develop a cloud service for user-friendly Finite Element Analysis ; the service was initially targeted at researchers at GIREF and other academic institutions, and also engineers at companies like Michelin (France), Hydro-Quebec and BodyCAD (Canada).- Built a task distribution system (with Celery and RabbitMQ) to handle and route the computational requests for MEF++ (a GIREF's homegrown Finite Element solver)- Designed and implemented a microservice architecture including a web application (ReactJS) and API (Django), file-transfer, task distribution services.- Contributed to an industry-grade C++ object-oriented codebase for finite-element problems- Created test suites for continuous integration- Presented regular reports on project plan and progress during meetings with GIREF researchers and industrial partners- Worked with senior researchers at GIREF and key stakeholders from Michelin, Hydro-Quebec and BodyCAD to select the best technology solutions at each level of the stack
