I’m a physicist with a broad skills base and a strong interest in solving problems. I’m also an award-winning communicator who likes working with people. I bring a track record of managing independent projects with multiple stakeholders: the longest being a three-year EPSRC funded doctoral investigation into 3D printing thermoresponsive hydrogels at the University of Bristol, where I developed open-source, accessible technology to create materials than can change in response to their surroundings. My broad knowledge of science and engineering, from a decade’s work in technical communications, is underpinned by a rigorous mathematical and physics understanding, culminating in my PhD. I'm currently working as a science consultant in Cambridge, using soft matter, physics and brains to help the world's biggest companies make better, greener, tastier products - and more.
