Working under Coach Jacob Poyner to assist the cross country program through teaching, mentoring, recruiting, and day-to-day activities to continue to grow the program.

This opportunity allowed me to gain expertise with using Excel, such as designing Pivot Tables and using formulas VLOOKUP and INDEX-MATCH. A few projects I worked on included normalizing data using inflation rates so that past contract and a new contract’s dollars are based in the same year to help with comparisons. I attended numerous trainings sessions and meetings that enabled me to understand cost analysis of current contracts done by senior management.

Worked as a summer hire and was brought back on to work during my winter break (2020) at Wright-Patterson Airforce Base in the Cost Division of the Research and Finance Department. This opportunity allowed me to gain expertise with using excel, normalizing data, using inflation rates, and operating the learning curve to help in decision making.

I was forced to collaborate with co-workers, be responsible with my group of children, and be intentional with planning and organizing activities and events to fill the whole day for the kids.
