As Suspension Group Lead at BME Motorsport for the past year, I was responsible for the design and development of suspension and steering systems, ensuring optimal vehicle handling, stability, and performance. I participated in assembly, on-track testing and maintenance throughout the season, where I was involved in developing test plans and justifying setup changes through calculations.• Worked together with chassis group to achieve seamless integration between suspension, steering and chassis systems. Improved driver ergonomics by reducing steering torque.• Enhanced car balance through calculations and collaboration with the aerodynamics group to determine mechanical and aerodynamic balance, while enhancing platform control and driveability.• Maintaining the CAD model in an orderly state, regulated its use, and provided support to team members as needed. • Designing over 100 high-performance parts for the car in the season using topology optimisation and generative design significantly reducing their weight. This included front and rear bellcranks, ARBs, uprights, brackets, A-arms, and the entire steering system, among others.• Conducted detailed FEA simulations for individual parts and system-level compliance analysis. Organised multiple workshops and presentations on FEA topic and software usage. Implemented own material models for Al 7075-T6 including fatigue limit and multilinear plasticity hardening model. • Crowned the season with a victory in engineering design and overall third place in CV category at FS Alpe Adria.
