TriState built a web-based platform for video and telephony services. I joined TriState in its early stages after their launch of streaming services and later my work focused on the launch of telephony services. - Oversaw and mentored team, completed code reviews, was responsible for outline/spec of projects - Worked with stakeholders across multiple teams to recognize issues/opportunities to prioritize and plan development roadmap while adhering to strict deadlines - Served as lead for research and implementation of new technologies and libraries during tenure that led to selection and adoption of jQuery, Grunt, Bootstrap, Webpack, Angular, etc. - Authored the majority of the company’s technical documentation. - Served on the initial team using Agile methodologies and took on scrum master responsibilities as needed. - Developed solutions to enable payments from credit card companies, and built APIs and database solutions for secure credit card storage. - Served as a lead engineer in the launch of telephony services, with efforts that included design and implementation of a software PBX to handle phone menus and Twilio/Plivo APIs to manage phone calls and text messages. - Oversaw and mentored the team, led code reviews, and wrote specs for implementation in PHP/JavaScript/TypeScript. - Developed platform to associate/store metadata and transcode video and audio for web streaming. - Designed and implemented UX widgets in multiple frameworks.
