In this internship, I did a general inspection of the complex GP1/Z specialized in petroleum gas separation, then focused on collecting information about the reboiler E7003/A which was the subject of my graduation thesis.Graduation Thesis,In my work, I was interested through the analytical thermal calculations to evaluate the performance of this horizontal double-nozzles thermosyphon reboiler in a thermal GPL separation unit where the results were compared and discussed with… Show more In this internship, I did a general inspection of the complex GP1/Z specialized in petroleum gas separation, then focused on collecting information about the reboiler E7003/A which was the subject of my graduation thesis.Graduation Thesis,In my work, I was interested through the analytical thermal calculations to evaluate the performance of this horizontal double-nozzles thermosyphon reboiler in a thermal GPL separation unit where the results were compared and discussed with other results found using the CHEMCAD simulation software where I found a good agreement.Then, based on these results I realized the thermal, the flow and butane's phase change simulations in a 2D section of the shell, where turbulence, flow velocities, pressure, temperature variation and Eddy's viscosity were treated with ANSYS Fluent software.Thus the design of the E-7003A reboiler in 3D is made by SOLIDWORKS software to perform the simulation of its mechanical behavior and analyze the various stresses, deformations and displacements obtained.
