Worked as a "Process Specialist - Data" at “Cognizant Technology Solutions IndiaPrivate Limited” since September 2021, I was into a "Self Drive Car" project which is in thefuture of the automobile industry. In this project I was a "Pod Lead" and I was handling a team of 25operators who are working on the "Artificial Intelligence" software quality that drives the cars. I wasresponsible for the team's quality, productivity, and other deliverables. My key responsibilities were tocreate an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture and set clear team goals for the operators, delegate tasks and set deadlines, track day-to-day operations, monitor team performance and report on metrics, motivate team members by inspiring them with success stories and making themvisualize the career path ahead, discover training needs, and arrange to coach when the performance isnot up to the benchmark for an operator, collect feedback from the operators, and implement thefeasible solutions they provide against any issue in the operations and highlight them for theircontribution to process improvement, recognize the cream performers and reward them tohave a competitive environment on the floor, organize team-building activities, and many more. Theskills that I have developed in this position are team handling, people management, projectmanagement, bringing out-of-the-box ideas for streamlining the project, automating tasks,understanding of statistics, simplifying things, team quality improvement ideas, and many leadershipqualities. I have also gained expertise in performing root cause analysis (RCA) & failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA). I am also learning the Six Sigma approach to operations management and in pursuit of scoring a Yellow belt certification.
