During the COVID-19 pandemic, U of M started the Community Matters Cohort Program (CMCP) to address concerns among incoming students regarding community building and a sense of belonging. These groups of 10-12 students focused on learning community building techniques, while also giving these new students a space to connect with one another in a remote setting. I'm working as a facilitator within these cohort groups, as well as a leader among the facilitator group itself.- Leading students through various workshops, teaching skills regarding community development in their own social circles- Planning social events for cohort groups to feel better connected, both in-person and remote- Working with CMCP leadership to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the program, develop curriculum, and provide feedback to other First-Year Experience programs in their new, remote format- Fostering a sense of community amongst facilitators through social events and providing support as needed

I returned to Relativity for another summer internship with the Case Strategy team.- Implemented the team's CI/CD test suite, using SQL database searches and Selenium, to increase the team's readiness for CI/CD workflows- Increased my understanding of CI/CD, its benefits to the development process, and the steps and infrastructure required to ensure the process runs smoothly- Actively participated in Scrum and Agile workflows

I worked as a software engineering intern as a part of the Case Strategy team.- Implemented new functionality within Case Dynamics' front-end, enhancing the user's experience working with the application- Fixed existing defects- Gained familiarity with the software development process; learning how software is maintained and how new features are added- Actively participated in Scrum and Agile workflows

The Change it Up! program is a part of the First-Year Experience at U of M. Incoming freshman and transfer students attend this workshop to learn the basics of bystander intervention, knowing how to identify harm on campus and, most importantly, how to step in and mitigate that harm as necessary.After spending time as an actor with the Educational Theatre Company (ETC) within this program, I decided to move into the facilitation role.- Facilitated the discussion of students' identities, harm on campus, and intervention techniques- Engaged students by asking questions and connecting answers to overall learning goals for the workshop- Led workshops of 150+ incoming students

Coming back to my hometown after finishing my freshman year of college, I worked at Old Navy during their summer and pre-school shopping season.- Encouraged membership to Old Navy's rewards program, maintaining brand loyalty and boosting sales made through these programs- Cultivated a welcoming store environment through tidying trafficked areas and offering help to customers needing assistance- Handled money and other forms of payment while making sales at the register
