During my internship at Comcast, I worked in the Ad Sales department of Comcast Media 360. My position in the department was focused on inventory tracking and making sure that the commercial line ups were organized as needed with the use of the Strata software. I also was able to help in approving or seeking out problems in advertisements that would then be aired on television the following month. Another important aspect of my experience working at Comcast was being able to work with various other departments such as the internal Marketing department and aid in the outlining of plans for creating video content that would be used in higher level presentations to market the new developments of Comcast Media 360 to outside companies that seek to use Comcast services. Furthermore, I was able to learn more about different departments such as Community Investment, Production and Communications allowing me to gain a holistic understanding of the inner works of a corporate company like Comcast.

At the Commissioner's office, I had the opportunity to work with one aspect of my local government and understand the inner works of my community. Upon arrival, my aims for getting more people involved with community development allowed me to take initiative of my own project idea that related to causes that I care about. Homelessness and youth empowerment. Consecutively, I developed a video series project (Myths About Homelessness) that allowed me to interview multiple people that hold significant roles within community development. Those videos will continuously be featured on the Chester County social media and other media platforms within the community development aspect of Chester County such as the "Decade to Doorways" website. The goal is to bring the community, especially the youth to understand that there are simple solutions to bigger problems that are only a click away and I will continue to work with community development and it's social media and communications team to ensure a brighter future for all the future generations of Chester County.
