CurrentEmployed by GBS Group to work for Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division, Ship Service Engineering Station (NSWCPD-SSES) DDG 51 Class Machinery Control System (MCS) Branch, Code 514 which work exclusively on the MCS for the largest class of ships in the Navy, the USS ARLEIGH BURK Class of Destroyers as an In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) for all MCS variants in the DDG 51 Class, providing systems engineering, and test engineering in support of DDG Modernization.MCS combines discrete and analog signals like fire sensors, engine speeds, and equipment temperatures from around the ship and provide that information to members of the engineering department in a centralized location. Responsibilities center on the support of the propulsion and auxiliary supervisory control system and gas turbine engine controllers.The GBS Group is an engineering, technical and software services business focused on large marine, rail, defense and commercial assets.
