I have extensive experience in the fast-paced industry of clothing and accessory sales as a manager for several trend-driven stores. During my time at those firms, I learned a vast amount of insight into the daily workings of fashion retail. I am also currently enrolled in the Fashion Apparel Masters program at Philadelphia University and have studied merchandising, textiles, production & accounting.During my first quarter as Operations/Visual Manager for Journey's, the store reached the top three in sales within the region and maintained that standing throughout my tenure. We also gained many new customers through direct marketing and targeted sales offers.I have also had the pleasure of learning sales-driven market research as a Member Relations Specialist for American Heritage Federal Credit Union. My responsibilities include, but are not limited to meeting with manufacturers and vendors, doing market-research with their products, and reporting results as well as offering suggestions based on buying habits. I work in a product matrix in which I am required to solicit to those who can afford and are in need, and I am measured by the response of the consumer. In order for my company to grow, I must use my insight and personal knowledge of a type of consumer, and show them the product they desire, even if they don’t know it yet. I have performed those responsibilities for this position more than five consecutive years. It is and always has been my goal to be in the world of fashion. The fashion industry is my greatest passion, and I have a tremendous talent for understanding what a person wants to buy, two qualities that are that are needed not only in this industry but also in this particular field. With all of my experience and success in the career I have been working towards all of my life, I know that this will fulfill both my goals and your growing business.
