Growing up in the Navy, my relationship-building started very young. Moving every couple of years, I was tasked with learning new places, building friendships, and relying on my family. Community became the core of who I am and my passion for advocating for marginalized populations and addressing social justice issues started early in my life. During college, my calling became very apparent, and my nonprofit career began. My cross-disciplinary experience has led me to lead in organizations focused on marginalized populations, youth, and social justice issues, and after nearly 15 years in the nonprofit sector, I joined Traffick911 which cemented my place in child advocacy. Most recently, I’ve joined the Zero Abuse Project team as Chief Advancement Officer.
