I managed the strategic technology needs for the Center for Healthcare Data Analytics (CHDA) and Epidemiology departments within Research and Development at Allergan. Their specific needs revolve around Big Data Analytics in which the department uses data from sources like Claims Records and Electronic Medical Record Databases from around the world. I manage cross-functional projects implementing predictive analytic software, visualizations, dashboards, and heatmaps as well as forecast and budget for future technologies. I also help advertise and promote the analytical services we have to offer through different media, such as video, print, and web design.Key Projects:• Implement Amazon Redshift and AWS solutions for all CHDA data to significantly reduce data analysis time, optimize data warehousing for SQL querying, and reduce overall warehousing cost.• Manage technology implementation in the clinical trial site selection process through big data and predictive analytics to increase enrollment rate and decrease study timelines.• Develop long-term strategy and road map for all Center for Healthcare Data Analytics and Epidemiology technology investments. Manage all projects related to these software developments.• Introduce improvements and standardization for all internal market analysis processes through new systems and process consolidation.

This unique role allowed me to work with every department along the R&D product development path to identify gaps and bottlenecks that hindered the product development timeline. Then, working with a project team, we would find, build, and deliver proper technology or software solutions to fill those gaps.
