Sr. Associate - Field Leadership
I provide support and oversee the operation execution for the North Branch which consists of FEMA Regions I, II, III, V, and VII. One of my focuses is making sure we are following all proper operating processes and standards, while helping communities recover from disasters. National Resettlement Program Manager
I served as the current Program Manager for this National Resettlement Program and handle all the requests for assistance and inquiries that come in asking for various types of support from Team Rubicon.While involved with the Resettlement Program, I have helped with TR’s overarching mission to work with countless partners and help transition Afghan families into their new homes and communities in the US, plus building countless relationships with local, state, and federal agencies. We received funding to take on a large grant and I made sure all reporting was done in an expediate timely fashion was key. I worked across all departments (MarComms, Development, Partnerships, Finance) to collaborate on strategic spend down, impact, philanthropy, and more. I helped review and edit MOUs, Partnership Agreements, and adjust financial analysis or potential spending plans for various line items on a budget. We brought on numerous temporary hires for this program in which I accomplished the following; I recruited (LinkedIn, Facebook, Job boards, external contacts), reviewed and screened 144 applicants, interviewing about 90 applicants, hiring 68 LEs, managing, onboarding, training, and approving time weekly as well for all these individuals for the past 8 months. I helped establish our organizations overarching vision and tactical strategy for us to accomplish the mission and support as many Afghan guests and resettlement agencies we could to have a phenomenal impact across the board. Sr. Associate - Operations
I oversee and help oversee Team Rubicon's disaster responses within a 3 state span (Missouri, Iowa, and Illinois). From gathering intel, conducting RECON/ADVON, and getting boots on the ground, I am skilled when it comes to ICS implementation and emergency management. In 2020, Team Rubicon partnered with Feeding America, to combat the increased food insecurity caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.I managed and provided program oversite, management, and support to help provide relief to various food banks and pantries in the fight against COVID-19. From receiving requests for assistance, helping gather intel and plan sites, to then executing to having boots on the ground, I was successful in leading a team of nearly 125 temporary hires to work in food banks and also a remote staff of 25 individuals to allow for proper span of control and strategy implementation. Team Rubicon Greyshirts packed, sorted, and distributed more than 48 million pounds of food across 141 cities in America. Together we packed nearly 10 million meals, served another 2.73 million, and drove almost 105k miles to get food directly to the homes of some of those who needed it most especially those who are at high risk and couldn't leave their residences.

Waterfowl Research Biologist
This project I was working on was researching 2 major things: (1) to see if oil and gas development in the Bakken Oil Formation would affect and reduce duck pair selection and abundance in the Prairie Pothole Region; (2) checking to see if the proximity to oil wells in North Dakota impacted duck nest success or lower nest densities.A few of my roles were the following:-Supervised crew of up to 15 technicians for four square mile duck surveys in the Prairie Pothole Region of Northwestern North Dakota.-Hiked and navigated to various wetlands using maps to survey each basin and to collect needed data. -Trained crew making sure properly fit, equipped, located, prepared, and technicians had everything needed for job.-Made various maps via ArcGIS for survey plots.-Data entry and management using excel spreadsheets and The Habitat And Populations Evaluation Team (HAPET) online database.-Contacted and worked with landowners to allow surveys and created end reports of biological data in areas.-Inputted and analyzed data from GPS and GIS to help make future biological and habitat management decisions for future wildlife in the area.

Aged white-tail and mule deer by jaw and teeth.o Aquatic trapping for various turtle species. Traps included hoop nets, seine nets, basking traps, and fyke nets. Would age, identify, notch, and pit tag all turtle species. Goal was to see if we could find a correlation between reproduction and environmental factors at WMAs in the Texas panhandle, since we are faced with so much drought up here.o Invertebrate and reptile trapping using pitfall and box traps. Captures ranged from invertebrates, reptiles, and small mammals then would identify, sex, age, and record any other needed data on species. The purpose was to determine inventory of wildlife species coming back to these prior burned areas in post oak.• Teaching assistant for Cytotechnology which is a class that teaches the microscopic interpretation of cells to detect cancer and other abnormalities. o Duties included: Teaching, grading, cleaning and preparation of labs daily, preparation and creation of microscopic cell slides, staining cells to show cell abnormalities, presentation creation, and other duties as needed.
